Our work included crafting a new intuitive website, migrating content from the old platform to the new site and implementing streamlined administrative management tools. Our Approach
The Southern Political Science Association (SPSA) is an established U.S. organization that sponsors an annual conference to support and grow the efforts of its professional publication, Journal of Politics.
We wanted the SPSA website to capture the organization’s image as respected political and academic thought leaders. At the same time, it was important to showcase their brand as modern and welcoming.
We also needed to design and develop their website’s administrative interface to better manage membership application details.
Challenge
From an aesthetic standpoint, the SPSA website needed a modern look to appeal to website visitors and new and existing members.
On the administrative end, as a membership-based site, the website had to accommodate our client’s growing user population. Additionally, the backend system required a streamlined build, to help the administrative team process and manage member applications. easing member enrollment and registration for the annual event.
Answer
We created an elegant platform that marries SPSA’s existing logo colors with a modern color palette. We focused on the user experience and designed easy-to-navigate action buttons and tabs and set them against a crisp whitespace. The website also displays beautifully on desktops, as well as mobile and tablet devices. To streamline backend administrative tasks, we designed need technical explanation.
